WhitE ChriStmAs

The grass hasn't be shoveled just for Abby to go out in. This happens to be the wind tunnel on our side yard. Jack Frost blows this area from south to north and causes the snow to pile up, hence the famous snow drifts. The same thing happens to our driveway, it gets plowed and then the wind blows the snow back in. Fun!! Its actually very beautiful, especially when the sun shines, it sparkles like glitter.

DALE DRIVIN' TRUCK

Dale said he has always wanted to drive a big truck. And believe me they are BIG! He likes the sound of the air brakes when they go Chhhhhhhh! Yip! You guessed it, he starts driving on his own the end of the month. We don't know where he will go on his long hauls yet but he would like to be given the California route. This last month he has been driving locally. The company he works for doesn't have any trucks over three years old and they are really nice! As you can see from his photos, he doesn't look at all like the "typical" trucker. (He bathes, has all his teeth, doesn't smoke or have tatoos and is married to the same wife for 42 years.) This will be an interesting adventure.Posted by TeamKeller at 7:19 AM 4 comments
Visit from Davis
Davis came over for a visit and when he came in the door I reminded him to take off his shoes and put them by Grandpa's. Later when we were about to leave the house we saw that he had put his shoes exactly next to Grandpa's. We thought it was so cute that we took this picture.

Sunday Drive
We took a drive up to Swan Valley, Wyoming. It was beautiful and sunny but cold. It will be covered in snow next week and sparkle like diamonds. We enjoyed the slow cozy ride in our warm car.Posted by TeamKeller at 4:43 PM 1 comments

CraFt DaY fuN

We decided we would have a quote "Craft Day" once a month and finish projects that we've started and not finished or maybe we'll just call it "Girls Day (or Night) Out". We might even get real creative and take on some brand new projects or go see a chic flick. Fun huh? All daughters and "mom" are invited. We'll keep you posted on the up coming dates.

Where's Lunch?? It wasn't totally just a "Girls Day Out" we also had a nursery to run.

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME
Wendy has been bugging me to update our blog so so she can see what we are doing. Actually, we are really quite boring ~ not adorably photogenic like all of our cute grandchildren. But I have tried to update and add new photos. Here is a glimpse of our home (which she has never seen) so this is to entice her to come for a visit.

A FEW OF OUR FAVORITE SISTERS
Sister Maatta from Finland and Elder Keller in front of Beehive House
Fun at the end of a busy day!
Sister Gao from Bejing, China and Sister Tervola from Hawaii. Sister Gao wants us to come stay with her if we come to China. (Like we will be going to China anytime soon) Nice offer though! Sister Tervola says we remind her of her parents. That's a compliment because most of the sisters think of the senior couples are their grandparents.
Sister Vea from Tonga and Sister Campbell from Scottland both have the best personalities. Dale teases Sister Campbell about liking IrnBru an orange drink that is liked in Scottland. She bought one for him to try and is was AWFUL!! So he told her he couldn't drink it because it has caffeine in it and besides it tastes like cough syrup. YUK!
Sister Gasper from Washington, and Sister Lloyd from Arizona. Sister Lloyd was carrying around a box for her companion one day. Every time Dale saw her he accusedher of having a pet box.

Elder Keller doesn't tease the sisters and the sisters don't tease him. Sister Tremblay from the French area of Canada and Sister Simoncini.
Sister Simoncini from Italy. She is so fun and has gorgeous thick, gently curl
y hair.Sister Phillips from Austraila and Sister LaVita from South Africa. We served with them at Welfare Square and thought they both had the greatest accents. It was fun to visit with them. Sister LaVita learned this transfer not to say while giving the tour, "This is where they cut the cheese", unless she was trying

Sister Brown from Chicago and
Sister Wiseman from Washington They both teased each other that they were Elder Keller's favorite Sister Missionary. "I'm his favorite, NO, I'm his favorite.!"

Sister Ostlund from Pleasant, California. She shared with us how Camp Ritchie helped a number of girls in her Young Womens to become active and how they brought non-member friends to camp every year. (Dale was the High Council representative over YW and campaigned for and negotiated the initial membership forPleasanton/Livermore Stake)
Sister Tino from Samoa and Sister Montilla from Phillipines.
Sister Freeman from England holds the record for the Sister with the longest natural eyelashes. They are unbelievable.

She entertained a group of YM/YW who were waiting for a tour by holding a pen lid with her eyelashes.

The Falls on a Fall Day
About Me
- TeamKeller
- We're home and back into the swing of things in the "real world". Back to work - since our ship didn't come in while were on our mission. But we are enjoying being busy and especially glad to be home near our family again. We truly love watching our grandchildren grow and learn new things. We have fun spending time with them and our daughters. We do wish Wendy, Shelly and their families were here also. Having a blog certainly helps us keep up to date with one another.
