Olivia's Hospital Stay

Grandpa took Livvy a balloon to cheer her up during her recent hospital stay with RSV. We are glad she's doing better so quickly with the help of oxygen, IV fluids and anitbiotics.

GrandMa GivEs A HaircuT

Grandma decided to give Maecie a haircut when she came to spend the night. (With mom's approval) Turns out it was her very first haircut and she's four years old.
Don't worry Maecie its only a trim to even out the ends of your hair. Later she told mom and dad she was mad that she got her haircut. I was surprised cause she never said a word about it.

Hazelhofer's Come for New Years

Wendy called one morning before New Year's and said we're on our way to your house. What a fun surprise to have them come for a visit. (First time to our new home) We were so excited and had a great time together. These photos are the proof they were here - in front of our home.
Wendy is ready for the games to begin.

WhitE ChriStmAs

Yes, its a deep White Christmas - as you can see its hard to tell where the snow ends and the fence begins. If you saw the picture of our deck and the first snow fall of the season you can now see how deep the snow is.

The grass hasn't be shoveled just for Abby to go out in. This happens to be the wind tunnel on our side yard. Jack Frost blows this area from south to north and causes the snow to pile up, hence the famous snow drifts. The same thing happens to our driveway, it gets plowed and then the wind blows the snow back in. Fun!! Its actually very beautiful, especially when the sun shines, it sparkles like glitter.

The end!

DALE DRIVIN' TRUCK

Dale said he has always wanted to drive a big truck. And believe me they are BIG! He likes the sound of the air brakes when they go Chhhhhhhh! Yip! You guessed it, he starts driving on his own the end of the month. We don't know where he will go on his long hauls yet but he would like to be given the California route. This last month he has been driving locally. The company he works for doesn't have any trucks over three years old and they are really nice! As you can see from his photos, he doesn't look at all like the "typical" trucker. (He bathes, has all his teeth, doesn't smoke or have tatoos and is married to the same wife for 42 years.) This will be an interesting adventure.

Visit from Davis

Davis came over for a visit and when he came in the door I reminded him to take off his shoes and put them by Grandpa's. Later when we were about to leave the house we saw that he had put his shoes exactly next to Grandpa's. We thought it was so cute that we took this picture.
